I am a qualified Medical Doctor with over 7 years of experience teaching and tutoring secondary school students. I specialize in GCSE Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics, as well as KS3 Science.
My background in medicine provides me with a strong scientific foundation and an analytical approach to teaching. I combine this with years of classroom and one-to-one tutoring experience to help students understand complex topics in a simple and structured way.
I understand that many students struggle not because they lack ability, but because concepts are not always explained clearly. My aim is to bridge that gap by making Science and Mathematics logical, accessible, and engaging.
I am committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and improving at their own pace. Each lesson is tailored to the individual needs of the student, with a strong focus on both understanding and exam success.
Over the years, I have helped students improve their grades significantly by focusing on:
Clear understanding of key concepts
Strong exam technique using past paper practice
Step-by-step problem solving
Confidence building and consistent progress
My goal is to help every student reach their full academic potential, whether they are working towards passing their exams or aiming for top grades.

1. How the lesson runs
Each lesson is structured around clear explanations, interactive teaching, guided practice and JAMB-style questions. I identify areas of difficulty, simplify complex topics, test understanding and provide targeted corrections to help learners improve steadily.
2. What I cover
I cover the major JAMB Biology topics, including cell biology, nutrition, transport, respiration, reproduction, genetics, ecology, evolution, classification, human biology, plant biology and other areas commonly tested in UTME Biology. Lessons also include JAMB past questions and exam-focused practice.
3. How learners can improve
Learners improve by understanding concepts instead of relying on memorisation. We identify knowledge gaps, practise JAMB-style questions, analyse mistakes and develop effective examination techniques. Regular revision, timed practice and continuous feedback help build accuracy, speed and confidence.

How do online Scottish (SQA) lessons work on Konetuto?
You choose a verified Scottish (SQA) tutor and book lessons online by video. Tutors work through the Scottish (SQA) syllabus and past questions, and after every lesson write a short report on what was covered and what to practise next.
How much does a Scottish (SQA) tutor cost?
Each tutor sets their own rate per lesson, shown on their ad. Many offer lesson packs that cost less per lesson, and some offer the first lesson free.
Are the Scottish (SQA) tutors checked?
Yes. Konetuto checks every tutor’s identity and qualifications, and runs a teaching interview and safeguarding checks, before their ads go live.
Can I cancel or move a lesson?
Lessons can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before they start, and moved once up to 12 hours before.
