Grade 9 Mathematics

Hi, I’m Mr Marvy, also known as MaraMathematics, your Mathematics and Physics tutor! I am a Mathematics and Computer Science graduate, educator, and mentor with over 15 years of experience helping students understand challenging concepts, build confidence, and achieve academic excellence. I teach Nigerian and international curricula, preparing students for WAEC, NECO, JAMB, SAT Mathematics, Cambridge IGCSE, Pearson Edexcel, AQA, and SQA examinations. I support learners across secondary and high school year groups, tailoring lessons to their abilities and academic goals. My teaching is interactive, practical, and student-centred. I simplify complex topics, use relatable examples, and encourage independent thinking. Through focused practice and constructive feedback, I help students strengthen their understanding, answer questions accurately, and manage examination time effectively. As an active member of the Mathematical Association of Nigeria (MAN), Enugu State Branch, I am committed to quality Mathematics education. Beyond teaching, I help students develop effective study habits, stay organised, and take ownership of their progress. As a mentor, I guide young people to recognise their strengths, discover purpose, and pursue their aspirations. My goal is to equip every learner with the knowledge, discipline, resilience, and practical life skills to succeed in examinations and beyond.
